Si sa che con internet ormai si fa quasi tutto, ma se poteste scegliere, cosa vorreste che ancora non c'è?

Ogni tanto quando sono triste vado a curiosare Yahoo Answers e mi perdo tra domande strampalate e risposte improbabili. La gente chiede di tutto e si affida alle soluzioni che qualche sconosciuto offre. C'è una fiducia totale nel web. Io stesso qualche tempo fa a un promoter che mi voleva vendere una enciclopedia ho risposto che ormai era inutile, tanto c'è Wikipedia. Questo per fare 2 esempi, c'è chi su internet gioca, chi cerca ricette, che googla le parole per vedere come si scrivono (forse cercavi coscienza?), chi traduce brani, giusto per dire le prime cose che mi vengono in mente.
Ma se voi foste degli sviluppatori, cosa vorreste? Intendo, cosa vorreste che oggi non c'è? Amrit Richmond ha creato un sito, che praticamente è un community ma anche un profilo Twitter per coinvolgere più gente possibile. The Internet Wish List è un pensatoio dove tutti possiamo dire cosa vorremmo dal web, basta twittare la vostra idea con il tag @theiwl e se siete stati brillanti il vostro post apparirà nella homepage. C'è chi vuole i profumi sul web, chi un app per le foto del proprio guardaroba sul cellulare, chi un app che legga le email mentre si guida per risparmiare tempo, chi un app con un catalogo di babysitter catalogate per zona e prezzo, etc etc. Dite la vostra non si sa mai che abbiate successo.
Every so often when I'm sad I'm going to look around Yahoo Answers and I lose myself in weird questions and unlikely answers. People ask everything and relies on some solutions from strangers. There is a total confidence in the web. Myself some time ago, to a guy who wanted to sell me and ancyclopedia, I replied that it was almost useless, there's Wikipedia! Just to make a couple of examples, there are those guys who play on internet, those seeking recipes, those asking to Google how the words are written (did you mean handkerchief?), those traducing songs, just to say the first things that come to mind.
But if you were a developer, what would you like internet to do? I mean, what would you like to do that still is not invented? Amrit Richmond has created a website, which is technically a community but also a Twitter profile to involve as many people as possible. The Internet WishList is a think tank where we can all say what we expect from the web: just tweet your ideas with the tag @theiwl and if you've been brilliant, your post will appear on the site's homepage. Some wants the scents on the web, others an app for the photos of your wardrobe on your phone, who dreams an app that reads e-mails while you're driving to save your time, others an app with a catalog of babysitters categorized by area and price, etc etc.. Well, have your say, you never know you'll suceed!!
