After Amsterdam, London and Copenhagen elephants have chosen a new city for their parade. What could be better than Milan?
Da venerdì 16 settembre gli elefantini colorati hanno conquistato e Milano e si sono sparpagliati un po in tutta la città, dai Navigli al Castello Sforzesco, alla Stazione Centrale, alla Virgin e anche a Malpensa. La Elephant Parade è una delle esposizioni open air più famosa al mondo, che viene organizzata dalla Elephant Family un'organizzazione che si occupa della raccolta di fondi per la tutela dell'elefante asiatico.
Per quanto riguarda l'edizione meneghina, i cuccioli di elefante saranno esposti fino al 15 novembre, data in cui tutte le statue saranno messe all'asta in collaborazione con Christie's. Gli elefantini sono stati pensati e disegnati da artisti, sportivi e designer, come Rabarama, Katy Perry, Fulco Pratesi, Karim Rashid, tanto per fare qualche nome. From friday 16th september the colourful elephants have conquered Milan and they spread throughout the city, from Navigli to Castello Sforzesco, at the Central Station, at the Virgin Active and also in Malpensa airport. The Elephant Parade is one of the most famous open air exhibition in the world, which is organized by the Elephant Family organization that is responsible for raising funds for the protection of the asian elephants.
As for the milan edition, the baby elephants will be on display until november the 15th, when all the statues will be auctioned in collaboration with Christie's. The elephants have been conceived and designed by artists, members of the star system and designers such as Rabarama, Katy Perry, Fulco Pratesi and Karim Rashid just to name a few.
