Phantasmic = Something apparently seen but having no physical reality; a phantom or an apparition.
According to the Platonic philosophy objective reality is perceived and distorted by our senses, so what we percieve is constantly made by reality and unconcious. In his pictures Neil Craver build subliminal compositions inbetween to something familiar and something purely mental. We have to interpret it by following our emotions and by setting free our subconcious. His compositions take place in the hydrosphere, homeland of the subconcious, and sometimes they merge to reality touching lightly the surface of the abyss. In this landscapes Neil's muses swim inside, naked and free, to remind us about freedom.
