picNYC table

"Our picNYC table with grass table top brings the rural picnic into the urban residence" Haiko Cornelissen Architecten.

Canned seedlings, seed boxes, balcony farming, vertical garden, vertical wood!
The amount of projects that tries to bring us close again to the nature is constantly increasing. They are Green-thumb-proof projects, but also they try to spur us to develop it. The Sunday country outing, the stroll in the park or the runs along the river during the weekends are not enough. Especially for metropolitan people. There is a need for a constant relationship with plants.
Attention for good cooking and care in setting the cable are now already part of our day-by-day routine: TV shows, magazine specials, blogs trained us to the taste and the ritual of the "good and nice" eating. To pair all of this with with plants caring will only benefit our life!
There are lost habits, sensation that we forgot. What a better moment that the eating one to (re)know  each one better and more frequently? and if some water spills over...no problem...but what about red wine???

Can we expect a tough competition amongst neighbours for the nicest table?
Shall we start talking about english-style and italian-style table?
